Help For the Menu Planner

If you experience problems with the planner, please ensure that you have javascript enabled, and "cookies" enabled, as this is where your recipe selections are stored. Flash 6 Player is also needed for the menu planner to work correctly, download it here.

What this is:

The Meal Planner is an easy way to keep track of favorite recipes and organize a shopping list. There are recipes initally added to the Planner on your first visit; you can dismiss all of them at once with the "Remove All Recipes" button.

General Help:


To Add Recipes to the Planner:

  1. Either: Click on the day you wish to add a recipe to,
    or browse through the recipes, if you do not have a day selected, you will be prompted to select one.
  2. Select any recipe from the Archives
  3. Click on the "Add to Meal Planner" link at the top left corner of the recipe
  4. The recipe and all of its ingredients are added to your Meal Planner.

To Remove Recipes from the Planner:

  1. Click the "Delete" button on the recipe you wish to remove.
  2. The recipe and all of its ingredients are removed from the Planner.

To Remove Individual Ingredients from the Shopping List:

  1. Click the "X" button on the ingredient you wish to remove.
  2. The ingredient is removed from the Shopping List.

To Find which recipe an ingredient is from:

  1. Rollover the "?" button on the ingredient and the name of the recipe is displayed beneath.

To Print the Shopping List

  1. Click the "Print Preview" button to show the first page that can be printed.
  2. Click the "Print" button. You will be presented with a Print Dialogue Box. Click "OK".
  3. After the first page is spooled by the printer, you will return to the next printable (if any) page. Repeat the above steps.
